Greg Canally serves as the first executive director of the independent Austin Transit Partnership bringing more than 25 years of expertise delivering large-scale capital projects. Prior to ATP, Greg served in several leadership positions with the City of Austin including Interim Chief Financial Officer, Deputy Chief Financial Officer, and Budget Officer where he led numerous projects for economic development, transportation, and long-range infrastructure planning.
Greg has worked throughout his career to deliver projects that connect Austinites with key destinations, including working on the bond program to finance the award-winning Austin Public Library and helping to bring Major League Soccer (Austin FC) to Austin. Greg has led numerous Public-Private Partnerships (P3s) convening stakeholders including the business community to advance solutions that benefit the public. He holds a BS in Economics from Villanova University and an MS in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
