Austin Transit Partnership seeks community expertise in finance, engineering and construction, and community planning or sustainability
AUSTIN, Texas—The application process has been initiated for three Community Expert Director positions with expertise in finance, engineering and construction, and community planning or sustainability. The current Board term for the five-member ATP Board of Directors will end Dec. 31, 2024. This application process relates only to the three Community Expert Directors.
The ATP Board appointment process for the three Community Expert Directors is led by a Nominating Committee composed of members of the Austin City Council and CapMetro Board. More details about the Community Expert Director qualifications and the application and nomination process are available at atptx.org/board-vacancy. The deadline to submit applications for the three Community Expert Director positions is 5 p.m. on Sept. 27, 2024.
Separate from this application and nomination process the Austin City Council will appoint a City Council Director; and the CapMetro Board of Directors will appoint a CapMetro Director. These representatives will be appointed, with terms also to begin January 2025.
The Austin City Council and CapMetro Board of Directors are expected finalize the appointment process for the five ATP Board members on separate meeting agendas prior to Dec. 31, 2024.
