AUSTIN, Texas— Today, Austin Transit Partnership took one more step to advance Austin Light Rail, initiating bond financing by filing a bond validation petition in the Travis County District Court. The petition expedites a determination from an impartial court to affirm ATP’s bond program. This statutory step is the most expeditious way to advance the will of the voters who demonstrated their overwhelming support for Project Connect in 2020.
